Men, women, and children of all ages and nationalities are
susceptible to the severe viral infection known as influenza. High mortality
rates are associated with influenza, particularly in young children and the
elderly. Up to 15% of the world's population can contract influenza each year
during the colder months. Flu and acute respiratory infections recur
periodically throughout our lives, lasting a total of about one year. During
these months, a person is inactive, afflicted with a fever, generalised weakness,
headaches, and viral proteins that poison the body.
TRASMISSION & BODY PROCESS:
The number of aerosol particles emitted into the air can be
reduced by 10-70 times. The virus then enters the bloodstream and spreads
throughout the body. It is worth convincing the patient to sneeze with his
mouth closed, as the concentration of the influenza virus in the air is
reduced.

| Flu (influenza) Trasmission |
The incubation period is the period of time between
infection and clinical manifestations. The severity of the disease depends on
many factors, including general health, age and whether the patient has
previously been in contact with this type of virus. In a mild form of
influenza, body temperature may remain normal or rise no higher than 38 °C,
symptoms of infectious toxicosis are mild or absent.

- Dry (in some cases - wet) painful cough;
-Pain behind the
sternum; - Rhinitis (runny nose);
Repeated rises in body temperature are possible, but they
are usually due to the layering of the bacterial flora or other viral
respiratory infections. Post-infectious asthenia may persist for 2-3 weeks
after the flu and can last for up to 3 months.
HOW TREATED ?
Self-medication for influenza is unacceptable, especially for children and the elderly. With a severe form of influenza, various complications may develop.

It is impossible to predict the course of the flu, and complications can be very different. 30% of patients are hospitalized late - after 5-6 days of illness - which leads to a protracted course of pneumonia and other complications.
